Alec East has been shaking his digital thing in public for nearly 30 years. Starting out a graphic designer on CDROMs, he went on to work in branding, web design, & digital marketing (with a splattering of motion graphics for feature films & TV for good measure).

Around 2008-ish he fell into digital strategy when he realised that most of the briefs he was being sent were never going to achieve anything meaningful for the client. 

So he (and his exceptional business partner) started Narrative Industries to help businesses understand human behaviour in the online world, and develop digital strategies, products & services that perform better than their competition.
